The tentacle literally shoots down to the engine, infuses the engine with more power than it can handle, and produces a combustion which literally causes the blades to explode from the engine. Quite spectacular and very interesting.

This video has nothing to do with the Octopus UFO, or any other UFO. The article listed numerous cases of windmills naturally breaking and then linked this video of a windmill naturally breaking simply to so that windmill damage is not a rare thing.Nice little rant, there, idiot. Time to start working on your reading comprehensions skills. Neither the article about the octopus UFO, nor the description of this video claim this video to be anything unnatural.

Actually it doesn't just "explode", the bearing failed while rotating, allowing the fan blade to shift, the shift in the fan blade allowed one of the blades to collide with the pole, this weakened the pole and the broke the blade, the sudden breaking of the blade unbalanced the turbine causing a massive amount of torque on the pole, causing it to buckle, the other blades also continued rotating and each one collided with the pole causing more damage. At 100RPM, 0.01 second is all it would take.

This Is not the video of the story about the Jan 4th windmill breakdown, via (south leader online page) This is an old video, iv seen it many times before. The online story says Video footage, but that makes people think its the video about the jan 4 iccident, but its not. (misleading....)

The wind speed was only about 15mph, however, the braking system on the turbine malfunctioned causing the blades to spin overspeed and eventually blow the bearings and off go the blades

i dont see how a windmill just explodes like that from weather, that's bs, and alot of windmills apparently in england and europe have been doing the same thing. the weather didn't even look that bad in the video.

anyone know what the wind speed was at the time?

I would hate to be near one if they did that!
